Steps for Cleaning Makeup Brushes:
1. Wet the bristles in warm water, please do not use hot water as the heat might damage the bristles.
2. Pour some mild cleanser (like baby shampoo) into the water, stir the mixture gently to combine.
3. Only dip the bottom half of the brush into the mixture and swirl the bristles in the water until the brush is fully lathered.
Note: Do not fully immerse the whole base of the bristles to avoid water traveling up the handle.
4. Rinse the bristles, squeeze the water out of bristles gently.
5. Repeat the above steps until all cosmetics are removed.
6. Reshape the bristles, let the brush air-dry, then fluff it with your fingers.

I LOVE these brushes. Just got mine in yesterday. So today I tried them for the first time. I was worried at first because how firm the brushes are, but I was quickly taken back when I saw how evenly they apply makeup. Before these, I hadn’t found a foundation brush that didn’t leave lines on my face, so I’ve always used a beauty blender. The eyeshadow brushes pick up more pigment then I thought they would as well. These brushes are well worth the price you pay and even though it’s not a lot, they work amazing.
Softness: These are amazingly soft. There are more expensive brushes that one could purchase and they wouldn’t be this soft!
Got these for a Christmas gift but they seem very nice. Sturdy and nice thick, full brushes. I did not notice any odor when I opened them. Wish they came with a case instead of just the drawstring bag, but I just bought one. I may order a set for myself later.
* Works Well for a NonMakeup Expert:
I like these brushes a lot! They are very soft and stable so far through a few months. I like that each brush is labeled. I’m by no means a makeup expert but I feel that they blend well and apply all makeup types smoothly. There’s several I don’t actually use but again it’s good to have some extras. I wish they did have a better carrying case. Many mention a drawstring bag but I don’t even think I got that – maybe they changed that. Great price for the quality. I’m happy with my purchase.
