一、 The purpose of makeup brushes is different, and the cleaning methods are different

(1) Soaking and washing: For dry powder brushes with less cosmetic residue, such as loose powder brushes and blush brushes.
(2) Friction washing: For cream brushes, such as foundation brushes, concealer brushes, eyeliner brushes, lip brushes;
or dry powder brushes with more cosmetic residues, such as eye shadow brushes.
(3) Dry cleaning: For dry powder brushes with less cosmetic residue, and animal hair brushes that are not resistant to washing.

二、The specific operation of soaking and washing

(1) Find a container, mix clean water and professional washing water at a ratio of 1:1, if the product has a special mixing ratio requirement, follow the instructions, and then stir evenly by hand
(2) Soak the brush head part in the water and make a circle, you can see that the clear water becomes turbid.
(3) Pour out the muddy water, put clean water in the container, put the brush head in and continue to circle.
(4) Repeat several times until the water is no longer turbid, then rinse it under the tap and dry it with a paper towel.

PS:

When rinsing, do not rinse against the hair.

If the brush handle is made of wood, dry it quickly after soaking in water to avoid cracking after drying.

The joint between the bristles and the nozzle is soaked in water, which can easily lead to hair loss.
Although it will inevitably be soaked in water when rinsing, try not to soak the whole brush in water, especially when there is detergent.

三、 The specific operation of friction washing

(1) First soak the brush head with clean water, then pour the professional scrubbing water on the palm of your hand/scrubbing pad.
(2) Using the brush head, repeatedly circle the palm/scrubbing pad until foam is produced, then rinse with water.
(3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the makeup brush is clean
(4) Finally, rinse it under the tap and dry it with a paper towel.

PS:

Choose professional washing water, or weakly acidic Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo, and do not use facial cleanser or shampoo containing silicone instead, otherwise it may affect the fluffiness of the bristles and the ability to grasp powder.

To check the residue of washing water, you can use the brush to circle repeatedly in the palm of your hand. If there is no foaming or slippery feeling, it means that it has been washed clean.

四、The specific operation of dry cleaning

(1) Cleaning sponge dry cleaning method:

Take the freshly used makeup brush and wipe it clockwise on the black sponge part for a few times.

五、Drying
(1) After washing the brush, dry it with paper towel or towel, including the brush rod part.
(2) If there is a brush net, it is best to put the brush head on the brush net to shape it. If you think it dries slowly, you can brush the net when it is half dry.
(3) Turn the brush upside down, insert it into the drying rack, and put it in a ventilated place to dry in the shade. Lay flat to dry if you don’t have a drying rack, or secure with a drying rack and place the brush upside down to dry.
(4) Putting it in the sun or using a hair dryer will make the brush head fried.
